Introducing the Echeveria minima, also known as the Miniature Echeveria or Miniature Ghost Echeveria, which is a small, compact succulent plant that belongs to the Echeveria, opens in a new tabGo to collections echeveria succulent genus. It is a popular choice among succulent enthusiasts because of its charming appearance and ease of care.

Native to Mexico, where this beautiful succulent can be found growing in rocky areas and desert regions. This minima Echeveria thrives in arid climates and has adapted to survive in dry conditions.

The Echeveria minima is a petite succulent, growing to a height of about 4 inches and spreading up to 6 inches in diameter.

It forms tight rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves that are usually bluish-gray or silvery-green in color.

This frosty mint rosette’s leaves have well-defined points and edges tinged with pink.

The leaves are packed so densely that only the upper halves are visible, creating a tight, mounding cluster that emphasizes its compact form.

As the rosettes grow and produce small offsets. The leaves are spoon-shaped and have a powdery coating called “farina” that gives them a ghostly appearance. The Echeveria minima flowers bloom during the late spring and summer months, with slender, arching flower stalks that can reach up to 8 inches in height. Its pink and yellow-bell-shaped flowers add a delightful touch of color to the plant and attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.

When it comes to Echeveria minima care, it prefers a well-draining soil mix specifically formulated for succulents. Water the plant thoroughly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent rot. Additionally, avoid overwatering as this can lead to root rot in these succulents. Removing dead leaves from the bottom of the plant is crucial to prevent rot and fungal diseases.

When growing indoors, your Echeveria minima can thrive in average room temperatures, ranging from 65°F to 75°F. It can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures down to 50°F but should be protected from frost and extreme cold. It requires bright but indirect sunlight indoors. It’s important to avoid placing the plant near cold drafts or air conditioning vents, as sudden temperature changes can stress the plant.

For outdoor cultivation, Echeveria minima is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 9 to 11. These zones generally have mild winters and warm to hot summers. However, Echeveria minima is not cold hardy enough to withstand freezing temperatures without protection. It prefers full sun to partial shade outdoors for at least 4-6 hours per day.

If you live in a colder climate, you can still enjoy Echeveria minima, a potted plant that you can bring indoors during the winter months to protect it from freezing temperatures. The minima Echeveria can be propagated through various methods. One common way is by taking stem cuttings from the mother plant. Simply cut a healthy stem, give it a few days to callus, and then plant it in well-drained soil.

Another method is by using leaf cuttings. Gently remove a leaf from the plant, let it dry out for a few days, and then place it on top of the soil. With time, new roots and baby plants will emerge. Echeveria minima or Miniature Echeveria is an attractive addition to any room. This succulent is a great choice for any beginner or experienced succulent gardener!

You will not regret buying this blanket!
Color: Aqua, Size: Queen/King Size - 80" X 90"
I was actually looking for a cotton blanket to add to my bed for fall and winter. Then I came across THIS one. It happens to be the exact shade of (“seaglass” or teal or aqua or whatever you choose to call it) blue green that I am currently redoing my bedroom in. It was a teense more than I’d planned to spend on this project. But I was in a splurgey mood so I went for it. I can honesty say that I’d happily pay twice as much. It’s much more beautiful and much more insanely soft than it looks in the pictures. While I don’t know how the blanket feels about me, I can assure you that I am madly in love with this gorgeous thing! I can’t wait for it to cool off in Southern California so I can roll myself up in it. Maybe I’ll crank the A/C down to 50 degrees and pretend there are more than two seasons (summer and late summer) in California. Anyway, this would make a great gift. It would make a great gift for yourself. Self care is important! Spoil yourself! You, at the very least, deserve a cozy cuddly blanket. I’m certain that this luxurious blanket will cure insomnia. Maybe even depression. I’ve owned it for like 2 hours and I have a whole new outlook on life! I feel pampered, spoiled, like queen of the world, maybe even like Cleopatra! I think that it should be obvious by now that I’m giving this furry looking blanket two thumbs way way up! Sometimes I order things from Amazon and by the time they arrive Ive already forgotten about them. I was anxiously awaiting my blanket friends arrival and I was prepared to be very meh. Not this time! Nope! Best purchase ever! I know what I’m getting everyone for Christmas! Buy several for future use. This blanket has made me deliriously happy! Update: After owning this blanket for, like, a while, I still love it. Shockingly it washes up beautifully! A word of advice. Fabric softener is a big no no. It gets the fur gummy and feeling like unwashed hair after a month. I imagine. I’ve personally never gone with unwashed hair for more than a day or two. It is at its fluffy and soft best when you use one of those new Downey rinses instead. That seems to remove all residue and it comes out feeling even better than brand new. A word of warning. Do not picnic on this blanket. The fur will encase and preserve your crumbs better than Tupperware. You may find a lost treasure that you don’t actually want in there. Best used for sleeping only.

So soft and pretty Looks great!
Color: Aqua, Size: Throw Size - 50" X 60", Color: Aqua, Size: Throw Size - 50" X 60"
This blanket is wonderful. I'm not sure if it will last or wash well but it's amazing right now. I was looking for something that had a sort of aqua color that would go with my new sheets that are aqua but still blend with my comforter which has more blue tones in it. This worked great as far as the color. I took some pictures and my dog is in them because as soon as I put it on the bed she jumped up and was like "oh thanks Mom ...I love this" That is how soft and luxurious this feels. Others said theirs was shedding. I took mine out of the bag and shook and no shedding. I did have trouble getting it out of the plastic and cut a few pieces with the scissors but once I got it started I just pulled to rip the plastic. I took one pic so you could see the back. I would say it's like a fuzzy microfiber and the color is identical. It's just te right thickness. I love the design. It's warm to lay under but also has a warm look. It was a good value at just under $30. I know some people said it did not wash well but I'll be super careful when I wash it and even though it says hang dry I might tumble on a very low or cool dryer so that it does not mat. If it's a disaster I'll come back to report but prob wont wash it for a few months. Oh and no weird smells out of the bag so that was a plus for me since I have chemical sensitivities.
